TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been an elementary school teacher in Colorado for 26 years. My experience is mostly in third, fourth, and fifth grade literacy for English language learners and students of trauma and poverty. I've also spent five years as a K-5 literacy teacher leader. Currently, I am a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse teacher leader and coach.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is a mix of humor and tough love! I want kids to love school and love reading! My goal is to build lasting relationships with students while holding them to the highest standards.
