I have had the pleasure of teaching in multiple grade levels in both general and special education classrooms. I enjoyed working with all of my students, both those that were experiencing their first year in school and those who were starting their high school career. I still consider them all to be "my kids!"
My teaching style varies. I believe in a constructivist approach to learning. I like to say that if you were to walk in my classroom at the same time each day, my students would be doing something different! I believe in student-centered, activity-based, and cooperative learning activities.
Honestly, being able to get up every morning to go to work at a job I love is an honor! I'm grateful that I enjoy what I do for a living.
I am a proud graduate of the University of Georgia. Go DAWGS!
I could not do what I do without the love and support of my family!
