TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been working as a teacher/librarian for seven years at both the elementary and middle school levels. I am currently an elementary school librarian at a school serving students in PK-5. I have three masters' degrees (Library Science, Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Leadership) and National Board Certification. I love planning and implementing curriculum-embedded library and media lessons and activities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is student centered with many research based activities to help develop students' information literacy skills. I also plan and implement literature based activities including, book centered projects, literature circles, and author studies.
