TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching high school English for 15 years. Over those years, I have had a heavy focus on differentiating and modifying for the diverse needs of my students. Outside of the classroom, I put on my leader cap as both a Cub Scout Den Leader and a Girl Scout Troop Leader. Moving between the teenage and elementary ages can be quite the jump, but at the end of the day, they all want to have fun, be challenged in unique ways, and be recognized for the individuals they are.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love hands-on-learning and opportunities for students or scouts to take the lead! Many of my resources can be adapted for digital learning, but I truly believe in the value of pen and paper + in-person communication.
