I have eighteen years of teaching experience from grades three through six. I've taught ELA, math, science, and social studies with an emphasis in ELA. What an adventure!
Student-led discussion and questioning guide my instructional techniques. My goal is engaging students and having them coach one another. I have a firm, but a laid-back approach to inspire students to be motivated by their own success. I spend lots of time to make sure everything we do will achieve maximum results. I thrive on knowing my students are getting what they need behaviorally and academically. I've spent a great deal of time preparing students for state tests in a student-friendly yet rigorous way. You'll find many of those types of products in my store.

B.A. in Elementary Education Grades 1-8
According to my sweet momma, I was born teaching. I've been so blessed to always know that I wanted to be a teacher! I've graduated from teaching my stuffed animals and blowing whistles in the backyard to some amazing successes with students that have made my heart so full. I've got a wonderful husband and two beautiful children that are on this roller coaster ride with me, and I can't imagine life any sweeter. Well, unless we could live at the beach. That would be perfect!
