The Me I Need To Be

I work in School Health (20 years) and possess a Master's Degree in Public Health with certification in health education and promotion. My educational career also includes a BA in Communications and several credits in Theatre Arts. i am an avid literary enthusiast and published a Children's Book entitled "But I am a Cat!' My zeal for the sciences have been fueled from teaching a STEM based program sponsored by NASA (20 years) to 3rd and 4th graders. I am a vetted library and DOE vendor.

As an author and person with theater experience I approach teaching from a hands-on, engaging/interactive format. Of course, as the needs of students are assessed, sessions are tailored for multiple intelligences and abilities.

My passion for the arts and sciences has lead to the creation of "THE ME I NEED TO BE!" Enrichment and Empowerment Program. My love and experience with cats and children has led me to develop lessons plans and worksheets that foster social emotional learning. The connection children have with animals is special, rich with meaning, and supportive of their development.
