Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (PK-3) Master's Degree Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (PK-3) Early Childhood Generalist Endorsement (4-5) Google I and II Certified Teacher Began teaching in 2011, in a special education classroom as an intervention specialist. Was an intervention specialist for a few years, taught kindergarten from two years and have since been in second grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is based on the needs of my students from year to year. I vary my style as needed in order to help my students succeed to the best of their abilities. My goal is to guide students to become independent learners that take responsibility for all aspects of their education.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have not received any teaching awards. I graduated Cum Laude in 2010 when I received my bachelor's degree. I was on the Dean's List for 6 straight quarters. 2015 Top 100 RESA Scores in the state of Ohio

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Ohio University for both my undergraduate program and masters program. While there I received my Pre-K to 3rd grade ECE degree and then my Pre-K to 3rd grade intervention specialist's dgree. Upon graduation in 2011, I went on to continue my education and obtained my 4th and 5th grade generalist endorsement.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My husband and I recently bought our first home. We have three children together. I enjoy all things related to school and planning!! I love decorating and searching Pinterest to find new ideas for party planning, teaching and home decorating! I have recently began expanding my expertise. I have taken interest in photography and woodworking.
