TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught middle school English for 8 years. Last year I became an Instructional Technology coach for elementary and it opened my eyes to great pedagogy. Now I take that knowledge to my current position as an Instructional Coach.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a big believer in WHOLE BRAIN TEACHING! I think that teaching should be interactive, fun, and proactive rather than stale and teacher-centered. If the students are having fun and moving around in a controlled way, then chances are they're having an experience that they will love.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Teacher of the month, Whole Brain Teacher, New teacher award, Mentor Teacher awards

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Mass Communications with minors in English and Communication Studies. I also have a Masters Degree in Educational Technology Leadership!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have a husband, 2 sons, and 2 dogs that I love. I'm selling my products so that I can have a little extra to keep the kids in Legos, myself in Starbucks, and the husband in pizza. I'm also a huge book nerd.
