For the past 37 years, Mrs. Spencer has taught elementary music, junior and senior high band and choir, Kodaly levels courses, and Elementary Music Methods at the college level. Her experience at the secondary level helped her to realize the importance of having a solid, joyful music education at the elementary level. As a result, she sought materials and training to help children develop into joyful, kind, well-skilled, intelligent musicians!
My teaching style incorporates a blend of joy, fun, and learning. I am certified in Kodaly methodology and have Level I Orff certification. I want the children to sing, dance, play, and think during every lesson!
