What I'm most proud of is what our journalists have won: 38 & counting Best of School Newspapers Online (BestofSNO) awards, 3 CA Student Media Festival 1st place awards, multiple NSPA, ASNE & SCJEA awards and 1st and 2nd place winners in our local school district photo and video art contests.
Bachelor's in English from California State University at Fullerton, Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Southern California, English Single Sub. Credential, National Certification in Journalism Education (CJE), CTE Credential in Arts, Media and Entertainment.
Have taught Beginning and Advanced Journalism & Broadcasting for over a decade. Currently, teaching Adult Ed for ESL learners & developing curriculum for school sites & OCJEA Board member.
