TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a 27 year-old middle school math teacher from Minnesota. I have been a teacher for about three years now. My forte is grade 6 math but I create other content outside of mathematics and middle school. I develop my lessons for my own students as well as curate them for other levels.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am very project based. I want my students to get excited and be involved in their learning. It is important for kids to see a process from start to finish and explore every step along the way. This leads to successful problem solving, even outside of the classroom. With proper questioning strategies and engagement techniques, I encourage them to do most of the "heavy lifting"
