TEACHING EXPERIENCE

6 years teaching Math at a 7th and 8th grade middle school. Courses taught: Math 7, Math 8, and Integrated Math 2. Prior to this, worked for several years as a teaching assistant and later a teacher with the Silicon Valley Education Foundation in their summer Elevate [Math] programs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Mixture of teacher-led and student-led lessons. Students are encouraged to work together and occasionally learn some topics on their own (and reinforced during instructional time). Technology used often, but not always.
