Greetings, my name is Mrs. Veronica Steele, and welcome to my store. Pursuing a degree in Early Childhood has always been a goal of mine since God placed my purposes in my heart. Currently, I work as a Teacher for a GSRP program in Dearborn Michigan. Another profession of mine is as a Professional Development Specialist or (PDS) for the National Council of Professional Recognition. As a PDS, I assist candidates in achieving their Child Development Associate Credential in early childhood education. My teaching experiences include instructing within The Dearborn Public School System for 6 years, teaching in Head Start Agencies, and tutoring students with diversity. My educational accomplishments include completing my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education Administration and Leadership in addition to degrees in Child Development, Pre-Special Education, Children and Families, and obtaining the CDA Credential. As an educator of young learners, I am sure to promote self-esteem and self-awareness in student's abilities, as they soar towards social emotional development.
Teaching Style- Constructivist Approach- https://imaginationsoup.net/what-is-a-constructivist-classroom/ https://www.brighthubeducation.com/teaching-methods-tips/85138-student-centered-learning-with-constructivist-teaching-strategies/ I am diverse in my style of teaching to encompass all learning styles, however, I favor visual, and kinesthetic storytelling as creating crafts will help your child with this style. Through discussion, I am promoting cognitive, and, and problem-solving (answering the how & why questions ). Families will help with this skill as this is identified in the small group introduction before the activity. https://www.brighthubeducation.com/student-assessment-tools/13770-verbal-linguistic-intelligence-activities/ utilizing multiple learning styles allows children to develop equilibration.
