I have been teaching third grade for two years. Prior to teaching third grade, I went to Rider University where I taught 1st and 5th grade general education. Furthermore, under Rider University, I taught in 3rd and 4th grade inclusion classrooms. Rider University also gave me the opportunity to teach in a multi age 2nd-3rd grade resource classroom. While taking classes at Rider University, I worked as a teacher's assistant for high school special education classes where I co-taught math, French, as well as life skills. Furthermore, I have observed additional education (special education) in Dublin, Ireland and 6th grade in Graz, Austria.
I believe in a UDL (Universal Design for Learning) approach in my classroom. Differentiation is key to all learners' success academically, emotionally, and socially. Sorry for the laughter, volume, chaos, and/or mess... we are learning in my classroom!

I received a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education and Communication Studies from Rider University. I also had a focus in Special Education and Educational Technology. At Rider University, I also went to graduate school to obtain my Master of Arts in Special Education.
One of my favorite hobbies is to travel. My favorite board game is Monopoly. The team I route for in major league baseball is the New York Mets! I love dolphins, owls, and Alaskan huskies!
