I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist. I've worked in the schools, for Head Start preschools, and in private practice clinics - always with children. I've always known I wanted to work with children :)
When I first started out on my SLP career journey I felt a little lost and very overwhelmed.
I walked into an empty trailer containing ZERO materials. I wanted to do right by my students, but did not have what I needed to do my job effectively.
Nor did I have any extra time to come up with lesson plans for 60 students with varying goals each week.
I wanted to get home to my family - not stay at school until 8:00pm every night. I wanted a life outside of my career.
Teachers Pay Teachers was very helpful to me in this stressful time of my life. However, I was still having difficulty. I wasn't a big fan of printing, organizing, keeping up with or even using worksheets, and I definitely didn't want to purchase products that took hours to prep and needed extra things to assemble, such as Velcro. Ain't nobody got time for that - lol!
I wanted materials that were made once and used forever. I wanted to know that I would always have what I needed at my fingertips - something I could literally just grab and go do therapy with.
I also knew I wanted something engaging and fun that would keep my student's attention.
After months of frustration, and an increasing awareness of what I felt like I wanted and needed for therapy materials, I dove in and started creating my own!
It is my passion that through my products I am able to give other SLPs a little peace of mind. I want them to always have what they need at their fingertips.
It's my mission to create compact, effective, and engaging materials, that take minimal time to make once and then be used forever.
My ultimate goal is to have a product for every possible speech and/or language goal, and have all these products fit into a collapsible rolling storage cart. I know, I know - huge goal!
I hope that you follow me on this journey of reaching my ultimate goal, and I hope that you find the resources created along the way to be very beneficial to you and your students. And, of course, I hope that I am instrumental in helping you get home to your family a little earlier each day!
It is an honor for me to share my creative gift of creating teaching materials for my fellow speech therapists and teachers!

A little bit about me...
I'm a Georgia girl who was misplaced in California for a decade, but have made my way back!
I'm married to an incredibly funny guy who makes me laugh and also drives me crazy sometimes. I have 4 young kiddos who keep me very busy, but also add a lot of joy to my life.
I live in a nice, quiet country subdivision where my kids are free to run around outside and play, climb trees, get dirty, etc. without having to worry about them.
I love spending time with my hubby and kids, Mexican food, cooking (as long as it's quick), walking in the woods, figuring out solutions to challenging situations, and I absolutely LOVE using my creativity to brainstorm awesome products for other SLPs to use in their therapy rooms :)
