I am a teacher of art and design with a background in advertising and fine arts. I have experience teaching elementary, middle school, and high school. I have taught art and design for over six years with a focus on the International Baccalaureate Curriculum.
My art teaching practice is driven by an interdisciplinary approach where I use student-centered learning strategies and inquiry-based activities so each student can develop creative and critical thinking skills. My class looks like a laboratory for exploration where students work individually and collaboratively in order to strengthen their social, creative, and critical attitudes.
