I've been a teacher for 14 years, and have been a high school and middle Spanish teacher for most of the time. I have taught all of the levels offered at the high school level including college credit courses. Teaching Spanish and Latino culture is my passion.
Hands on, lots of cooperative learning, fun, entertaining, but organized!
Nominated "Coolest Spanish teacher ever" - by all of my former students. Seriously though, my biggest honor is when students are learning and enjoying their time in my classroom.

I am Dominican-American. I was born and raised in the NYC. My first language was spanish but like many children of immigrants, the priority was to learn English. So for many years I lost my Spanish. In high school I had the best Spanish teacher who helped me regain my native language and thrive in it. My goal is to do the same for my students.
