TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a New Zealand Primary School teacher with 16 years experience teaching students from Years 1 to 6. I have also been literacy leader in several schools and facilitated and coached teachers overseas to develop their expertise in teaching literacy. I am passionate about literature and how it can both engage and develop literacy learning for our students. The Book Bandit is dedicated to providing engaging book responses, where children are encouraged to think deeply, read between the lines, and ENJOY!
