I have been teaching in public high schools since 1997. I started off teaching government to seniors and have since taught world history, world geography, US history, current events, and psychology to grades 7-12.
History is a long continuous story, with protagonists and antagonists intersecting throughout events and circumstances that build - like masonry blocks - one upon the other. As such, I teach history by telling stories. Lecture isn't in vogue these days but it is what I do well. I learned long ago to be who you are and play to your strengths. My strength is in the telling of a story.

I've authored three books about the JFK assassination. Titles include – Coup d’ Etat (2014), Wilderness of Mirrors (2017), and Treasonous Cabal (2018). Without exception, in my twenty years in the classroom, the JFK assassination, the CIA’s “Medical Manhattan” Project, and all things Watergate-related have generated more student interest than any other topic. It's not even close. My books are more-or-less collections of the research and subsequent lesson plans that flowed from that research over twenty-plus years of teaching these subjects. I am a family man. Katrina and I have been married thirty + years. Together, we have four children, three grandchildren, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law. We currently make our home in Fairview, Tennessee. I am also a public speaker, available upon request. For information, call 931-494-0070 or e-mail at Blj34_37146@yahoo.com
