I am a National Board Certified Teacher with over three decades of experience teaching vocal music at all levels, and I am currently teaching 4-year-olds through 6th grade in both traditional and Montessori public school programs. I hold am also a composer and enjoy creating pieces for my students.

In my undergraduate degree, I completed requirements for teacher licensure in music and French. In my master's degree, I studied music education, and I hold a doctorate in music theory and composition.
I have given music and/or music education presentations in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, New York State, Pennsylvania, and Vermont in the United States, as well as in Ontario and Newfoundland, Canada, and Sydney & Melbourne, Australia. Music I have composed has been performed in numerous US states, Canada, Brazil, Australia, France, Belgium, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
