TEACHING EXPERIENCE

1 semester as a push-in special education co-teacher to 7th and 8th grade students in all subjects. 2 years classroom experience teaching high school and middle school art, in Title I schools, and in affluent areas. 10 years experience instruction performing arts, including world-class performance ensembles.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student-driven project-based learning. I like to provide students with methods and techniques necessary in the trade, then allow them to put the skills to use in their own projects, allowing them to make meaningful choices about how they present their own skill level to enhance student engagement.
