I like to think of my classroom style as "chaos by design". I believe in planning learning experiences that are both exciting, and educational. Students in my classroom do not sit quietly while I lecture out of the textbook. Our lessons are alive! The students learn things themselves through hands-on experiences, I just put them in position to have the tools to do it.

I'm known around my district as "The Hat Man" because I have a huge collection (approaching 40) of silly hats that I wear when I read books to my class. One of the biggest responsibilities for my VIP each day is to pick the hat for me. Every student has his or her favorite. I'm also a big fan of Walt Disney World, and have been known to even play park music during work times in class. Students love it!
