TEACHING EXPERIENCE

ABC's of Autism is a team of 4 individuals that work for Any Baby Can of San Antonio as the Autism Services Program team. We are a non-profit out of San Antonio Texas whose mission is to serve families with children and youth facing serious health or developmental challenges. Our program also works with school districts, business, community members, First Responders and families to provide training, strategies and products to promote inclusion and acceptance. Our Team : Ana - Autism Services Director - Graduated with a masters from Trinity University and has over 32 years of experience in special education in the public schools. Ana has worked extensively in the schools with a focus on behavior. Katya - Autism Services Education Specialist- Graduated from Baylor University with a degree in All-Level Special Education and taught early childhood special education and life skills for grades k-5th for 5 years in the public schools. Katya has also taught special needs gymnastics for the past 12 years. Rachel - Autism Services Client Specialist- Masters from UIW and a Registered Behavior Technician. Rachel is the proud mom of a 12 year old boy with Autism. Rachel has been working with Any Baby Can for the past 5 years and is also a PEERS (social skills program) trainer. Shirley - Autism Services Administrative Assistant- Associates degree in Psychology and is worked on her bachelor degree at UTSA. She is a wonderful mom of a blended family of 6 and has a beautiful daughter with special needs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a program we believe in research based strategies that can be used in the school and home environment. We believe in empowering parents, teachers, individuals to be able to navigate the path of special education with the knowledge of strategies to help guide them.
