I began my teaching career at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. I had learn how to be an effective teacher while facing challenges that any teacher, or person in education, would have never imagined possible. I'd like to think that my experiences during my first 2 years of teaching brought me a mindset and new resources that most teachers don't have the opportunity to encounter as early on as I did.
I like to provide lessons that are engaging and interesting. When feasible, I incorporate challenges. I differentiate for all abilities and learning styles. I want my students to feel heard, understood, and appreciated. My #1 rule is that mistakes are okay. It shows me that you are trying and we will all be respectful of that.
