I have been fortunate to have gained experience working with so many different ages! I began my teaching career working in a private preschool setting, where I was responsible for creating the curriculum to engage young minds. I then transitioned into the public schools, where I taught for 9 years! I taught ESL first grade students. Additionally, I taught both in class support and resource room as a special education teacher. I am now a teacher creator and I hope to use these experiences to create resources for teachers to use in their classrooms and engage young minds in active learning!
Our young learners are developing in every single area! As educators, we have to involve as many of their senses in the learning process as possible. I love hands-on learning that involves fine and gross motor skills. I believe we aren't doing enough cutting and glueing in schools today!
