Teaching with Katie Nicole

I taught preschool for over 3 years. I enjoyed getting to know young children and helping them find a love for learning. I was a reading specialist in first and second grade for one year. This helped me develop ideas and activities for children to help them have fun and become more engaged in reading and writing. I have now been teaching third grade since 2016. I'm constantly reading and researching new ways to help my students flourish!

I utilize the Whole Brain Teaching method with my students. I am always researching ways to help all of my students. I use fun and engaging resources to help students at all levels. Integrating technology and creating differentiated resources are ways I help reach all students needs and try to help my students become ready to succeed outside of the classroom as well.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from my university with my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.

I recently obtained my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from my university with my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have my 4/5 Endorsement and Reading Endorsement. I am constantly reading and researching ways to help my students succeed and to help me meet the needs of all students more appropriately.
