I am a creative and fun loving teacher. My specialties are helping to engage reluctant learners and building positive classroom communities. I like to keep students engage by helping them build background knowledge, make personal connections with text, interact with hands-on activities, and think critically. I didn't start my career as a teacher...I first worked in video production, TV, and film. Although it was an exciting career... I knew my true life calling was to serve others...so I became a teacher. I have a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, a Curriculum Supervisor certification, a School Principal certification, and I have been teaching English, Reading, Strategic Reading, Video Production and Communications for 13 years.
