I have taught two years of 9th and 10th grade English. Since becoming a mom, I have been a stay-at-home mom. While one day I might go back into the classroom, for now my priority is teaching my son at home to prepare him as best I can for kindergarten and beyond! I love creating resources for him that I can also share with others to help parents and caregivers incorporate learning and play from a very early start!
My teaching style is based on play and movement. I am a big believer that the best learning especially for little ones happens though play and hands-on experiences. I create curriculum that has letter practice and early counting skills sprinkled in, but a large part of my curriculum is based on playing, creating, and experimenting! Another big aspect of my curriculum is that it works best paired with intentional books I have hand-picked, but of course the more books, the better!
