TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello there! I have been teaching History and Social Sciences at the secondary level in San Diego, California for for 7 years. I have taught World History, United State History, AP European History, American Government, Economics, Civics, and Ethnic Studies. I have been trained in Personalized Learning, Challenge-Based Learning, Inquiry-Based Learning, and Project-Based Learning.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style focuses on teaching honest and authentic history. I enjoy shining a light on the historical experiences and triumphs of under represented groups no matter what course I am teaching.

I graduated from Providence College (Rhode Island) with my B.A. in History. Then, I earned my Teaching Credential and Master's degree from the University of San Diego. My Master's degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Digital Literacy.
