I have taught First grade for one year and third grade for eight years in the same district. I also have been teaching soccer to Elementary age children for 10 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands-on learning and teaching of high ESL population.I use the workshop model for Reading, Writing and Math utilizing the gradual release process of teaching with a mini lesson of modeling, guided practice, collaborative learning and independent practice. The collaborative learning consists of small guided groups based on reading levels, pre and post assessments and ability.
