I am a technology teacher and CTSO adviser & I love what I do! I enjoy working with young people and I plan to retire as a career teacher. I decided to open a TpT store due to a lack of resources available to business & technology educators. I think back to my first day in the classroom, and I can remember just how overwhelming the planning process was. I love that educators now have this tool to collaborate and share resources. I am an extremely high energy educator. My teaching style is student-centered and promotes the five C’s... creativity, communication, citizenship, collaboration, and critical thinking. I am an advocate for self-learning and I believe that critical thinking skills are essential for student success and self-actualization. If you were to take a peek into my classroom you would see engaged & attentive learners. Most importantly you would see students having fun! I use a combination of PBL or Project-based learning, technology integration, game-based learning, interactive lessons and handouts, digital tools, choice boards, and more. All of my assignments are aligned with the National ISTE and Common Core standards.

I have received several awards including a CTSO adviser of the year award, several teacher of the month awards, and several teacher of the year nominations. I also serve on the board of a Business Education Association.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications emphasis PR & Advertising Master of Science Human Resources Management Master of Business Administration Master of Art in Teaching Business Education Doctorate of Education Curriculum studies
