Teach It and Love It

I taught over a period of 38 years. I took time off from teaching while my own children were young. I spent sixteen years in public schools, and three years in a private school. I worked with children at church as well. I have taught the majority of my years in 1st and 2nd grade. I taught elementary music, junior and senior high choir as well.

I love hands on and visual learning for children. I feel most children learn best this way. I believe in focusing on building a positive relationship with students and parents, and providing success for each student regardless of their level or ability.
