TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a Texas teacher with almost 15 years experience. I have worked with teachers and students from middle school and high school. I have experience teaching students in variety of populations, including struggling low-socio economic students, pre-ap students, overage students, and ELL students. I collaborate with different teachers and specialists in my district and I have learned many techniques and methods through the years that have been kid-approved and classroom-tested. I want to share those ideas with teachers all over.

MY TEACHING STYLE

On any given day, my style of teaching "practice" includes one or more of these beliefs: Always model what you're teaching. Make practice authentic and fun. Give feedback and praise. Remember to spiral. Never say anything a kid can say.
