TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 3rd-10th grade Latin at a classical school in Northern Virginia. I also taught AP US History at the same time for an online school. I have been teaching 10th-12th grade Literature (British Literature Survey, Great Books 1 & 2); Rhetoric 1 (Speech & Debate); & Rhetoric 2: Senior Thesis at a classical school in NJ since 2019.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My philosophy of education is most closely based on Charlotte Mason's classical Christian approach. I view the child as a whole person; it is the teacher's job to help the student understand the world and grow in virtue. I enjoy the liberal arts, so my materials come from a variety of subjects: literature, Latin, public speaking, history, mythology, Bible, music and more!
