TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience teaching Chemistry in a diverse city school at many levels. I have taught Honors and AP Chemistry classes in the past and now I teach STEAM Chemistry. I incorporate real-world problems, art standards, and work with other core subject teachers to make Chemistry hands-on and relevant for my students. I have also written differentiated Chemistry curriculum for my school district.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach students who struggle to understand Chemistry. Many of my students have learning disabilities, are English Language-learners, or for whatever other reason walk into Chemistry ready to fail. My goal as a teacher is to incorporate meaningful projects and hands-on experiences to make success at Chemistry accessible to all of my students.
