I have had the opportunity to provide speech and language therapy services to patients age 2 through adulthood in a variety of settings (i.e. developmental preschool, agency, private practice, public elementary school). I have evaluated and treated early language acquisition and development, articulation, receptive/expressive language, cognitive, auditory processing, fluency and voice disorders.
I utilize a multi-sensory approach through guided play and theme-based learning for my students ages 1-4. I create self-made learning tools aligned to the Common Core Learning Standards to increase vocabulary, receptive/expressive language, cognitive and communication skills for my elementary-level students. I enjoy collaborating with other professionals to create a team-approach to maximize student success.
