TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 14 years, mostly in an elementary and special education classroom. I am currently a K-5 Literacy Coach. I love helping young learners bridge gaps and succeed!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My students all have different learning styles and academic needs, so differentiating instruction is essential. I believe in teaching always in ALL ways! I create lessons that are specific to each child's goals, and collect data regularly to ensure they are making progress. I also build in social skills instruction and monitor the children's behavior to ensure they are comfortable in all school settings. Consistent communication with parents and staff is key to my students success!
