Hey there! So, I've been on this incredible teaching journey for a decade now. Time flies, right? The first eight years, I was all about General Education, diving into the world of 2nd to 6th graders. It was a blast, but guess what? The last couple of years, I've shifted gears and stepped into the SPED (Special Education) arena. And you know what? This year has been a total game-changer for me. I've completely fallen for Early Childhood Special Education. There's something so magical and rewarding about working with these little ones. I've found my groove in creating all sorts of fun and engaging resources for our classroom. It's like every day is a new adventure, and I'm loving every bit of it!
In my classroom, the power of play takes center stage. Embracing a play-based teaching style, I strive to ignite a passion for learning in every student, regardless of their level. It's all about creating an environment where learning feels like an adventure, not a chore. Through carefully designed games, interactive activities, and imaginative play, I cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities. This approach not only fosters a deep love for school but also ensures that learning is accessible and enjoyable for all. Whether it's building literacy skills with a storytelling session or exploring math concepts through fun puzzles, each activity is tailored to engage and educate in a joyful, playful manner. In my classroom, laughter and learning go hand in hand, as I believe that when children are happy and engaged, learning naturally follows
