I have a passion for creating, developing, and employing imaginative learning tools and curriculum, as well as, implementing hands-on learning experiences that target inquiry-based approaches to education and promote critical thinking skills.

Current Project Focus- During my tenure as an educator in Ethiopia, I discovered a personal passion that filled a critical classroom need. In response to a resource-deprived environment I began writing and developing English-language support materials, stories, motifs for my students. One such project blossomed into a 16-book leveled reader series for beginner to intermediate levels. My students delighted in seeing characters that reflected them yet were fun and relevant. My current project, Six Regions board game, is designed to provide Social Studies educators with innovative learning materials focused on Africa's historical and current affairs, geography, culture (including UNESCO World Heritage Sites) and the African Union. In addition, it can be tailored as a complementary and practical learning tool for the Pedagogical Use of the General History of Africa (PUGHA). I currently seek a position in Educational and Learning Material Development as a Content Creator.
