Spanish Cuentos

Craig has taught many levels of Spanish including university and all levels of high school and middle school. He currently teaches eight different levels of Spanish: Grades 1st - 8th Craig also teaches a college course every semester, helps businesses with their Spanish needs and works with many homeschooled children.

He is passionate about teaching the Spanish language and has created unique storytelling lessons which incorporate current events, music, literature, games, poetry, Latino folk and pop culture, all with much conversation throughout, to make students fluent in Spanish while being creative and cultural. Craig’s goal is to allow students to learn a second language in much the same manner as they learned their first language, through the senses and comprehensible input.

Craig is a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, South America. He has a Bachelor’s in Spanish and a Master’s in Spanish Literature. He is also a certified Spanish teacher in the state of Iowa.
