TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm Julie, founder of Soul Sparklettes Art and the Glitterbombers Membership. We serve thousands of homeschoolers and art teachers with cross-curricular art lesson plans, videos, and resources that are kid-tested, kid-approved, and developed with kid input. I've taught art for over 5 years in the community, and also through our online Glitterbombers membership, as well as to my own two children.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that art is a bridge to learning all subjects, so my lessons are cross-curricular, and I also include extensions in every bundle of The Glitter Bomb in history, geography, science, and language arts. I believe that all children can be made to feel confident with lessons at are engaging, and leave plenty of room for their own artistic stamp. Our lessons teach the elements and principles, are aligned to standards, and most importantly, have been kid-approved. I also believe that lessons should be easy to adjust to different mediums, and I include differentiation to do with multiple ages, or to scale up or down for different grade levels if you would like to do the same lesson.
