TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in public, private and home school settings and am presently teaching 3rd grade. I have taught for 16 1/2 yrs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach Math as a tested area. My primary teaching style is visual. I came up with The Multiplication Tunes so that my students who learn visually and by association could benefit...being motivated by my own son who struggled to learn large quantities of information.

Teacher of the Year for my school in 2005-2006.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Learning from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am highly qualified in the areas of Science and Literature. I completed 2 years of Nursing in College.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I play several musical instrument and compose songs and rhymes to help my students learn.
