TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a full-time practicing classroom teacher with over 24 years of classroom experience. I currently serve as a middle school Social Studies teacher and Mock Trial coach. I have six years experience teaching middle school Social Studies courses including U.S. History and Geography. I have ten years experience directing and teaching in a high school Alternative Education Program. I have eight years experience teaching high school U.S. History, Civil Rights History, Civics, Social Psychology, Psychology, and World Studies. While serving as the Alternative Education Director and Lead Teacher in my district's High School Alternative Education program, I also served as a high school special education teacher and case manager for three years. My experience includes teaching in both urban and rural school districts in Wisconsin.
