It covers various topics, including the definition of history, why it matters, historical thinking, and the tools used by historians such as primary and secondary sources and artifacts.

This resource also includes interactive activities like vocabulary practice, sketch note activity, "History Detective" practice, and "Hexagonal Thinking" exercise to help students engage with the material and gain a deeper understanding of the subject. Additionally, reflection questions are included to encourage students to reflect on what they have learned and apply it to their own lives.

Student Instructions: As you make your way around the gameboard you will learn about why history matters, how to “think like a historian” and the “tools” of a historian. You will also get a chance to put these skills into practice! Are you up for the challenge? Click the icons on the game board to access each task. Complete each task and if required, record your responses in the space provided. Good luck!

*What is Hexagonal Thinking? Hexagonal Thinking is a visual tool to help students make connections and organize ideas on a topic. This DIGITAL hexagonal thinking activity is a fantastic review activity or it would work great as a lesson or assessment!
