TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Experience Teaching K-12 Art Education since 2002

MY TEACHING STYLE

Regarding the classroom and my teaching style, I am confident and amicable and have established a good rapport with the students I have taught. I teach with a person-first individualistic approach, and have been trained to identify and cater to diverse learning styles. I am a firm but reasonable disciplinarian, and pride myself in fairness within the classroom. I am also a practicing artist who enjoys working within a broader community, exhibiting, and encouraging the arts in other settings. I believe in advocacy and voicing the importance of the arts wherever I can; which I feel encourages my students to do the same.
