TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have extensive experiences working with children and families: In March 2023, I went on a week-long trip to Guatemala with Florida State University’s Student Academy of Audiology to help fit hearing aids and perform audiological examinations for children and adults of Panajachel. In 2022, I worked as an Assistant Teacher at Mariposas Spanish School For Kids in Austin, TX. I worked with children ages 3-8 in a Spanish-immersion setting with the incorporation of ASL and Total Physical Response (TPR) teaching methods. From 2018 to 2019, I worked with children aged 5-12 with reading and tutoring at Bridgeway Christian Academy in Alpharetta, GA as an After-Care Lead Teacher. From 2017 to 2018, I worked at Lifetime Fitness in Johns Creek, GA as a Child Care Center Team Member, and eventually supervisor, with children aged 0-12 years old. I developed and managed a Homework Help Program in this role. From 2018 to 2019, I volunteered as a Peer Facilitator at my high school to partner with my peers in the exceptional education classroom and support their learning goals. From 2013 to 2019, I was an assistant coach for a cheerleading team for children with developmental disabilities.
