Tristan is passionate about not only the conventional perspective of education but also educating through entertainment via various multi-media outlets. Professionally Tristan has been an instructor for the past 7 years; entrepreneurially, he is a video production proprietor and content creator who is a major believer that the two fields can go hand and hand. What Tristan likes about both fields is that idea that they both have transferable required skill sets that can power one another. For example, recently Tristan produced a video for a local school hosting a career fair. Because of the transferable skills as an educator, Baker was able to create a script for scholars to read which was then produced into a collage of various scholars and staff reading their school’s mission. Tristan hopes to continue his journey of educating the youth while harboring such skills in a way where he can monetize entrepreneurially through content creation and independent instruction.
Tristan Baker, a determined Philadelphia native, brings a unique teaching style rooted in resilience, appreciation for education, and a student-centered approach. Having overcome personal obstacles, he understands the importance of perseverance and instills this quality in his students. Recognizing the potential of education to open doors, especially for Philadelphia youth, he emphasizes the value and significance of learning. Tristan's background in business management and entertainment business drives him to incorporate practical and real-world applications into his teaching, fostering hands-on activities and industry examples. Additionally, his commitment to personal growth and diverse experiences allows him to create an inclusive learning environment that encourages self-reflection, critical thinking, and continuous improvement among his students. As an instructor, father, and entrepreneur, Tristan's multifaceted perspective makes him a valuable asset in shaping young minds and inspiring them to reach their full potential.
