I'm a 4th grade Writing teacher with a background in Special Education teaching 2nd-5th grade small groups, and I've also taught 5th grade ELA.
I love to add technology to my lessons, whether it's singing along to a video to help memorization or traveling to another continent through Microsoft Skype. I want my students to experience the world around them as they make authentic connections to the curriculum.

I'm a mom, wife, teacher, and young married's leader at church. So, I guess that means I'm a super human, like many of you ... just trying to make through every day without skipping a meal, eating too much chocolate, or drinking too much coffee. My daily plans include remembering to drink water, remembering to switch the laundry out, remembering to pack lunches, and remembering where I put my cell phone and keys. It's my hope that whatever I add to this site is useful to you in your classroom and helps your students grow!
