TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for a total of 5 years in two schools in two different states. I began my career as an upper elementary teacher in Chattanooga,TN. After 2 years, I traded in my job in urban education for a job at a school in very rural Rossville, GA. In both settings, my position was non-departmentalized so I consider myself an expert at just about everything 4th/5th related and at reaching students at all ability levels. Because I taught in a non-departmentalized setting, integration was key to success in my classroom and is reflected in many of the products I offer.
