I started performing at 6 years old doing Eisteddfods, AMEB and competitions.I have been teaching drama to primary school aged students for 10 years. In that time I have been lucky enough to teach for a variety of performing arts schools in Australia (Coffs Harbour, Gold Coast & Brisbane) and Canada (Vancouver, Ontario). In my teens and adult years my focus shifted to film and television. I went on to study a Diploma as well as many years of private coaching from various teachers in Australia and Canada.
Drama should be fun and accessible to everyone. It`s important for young students to have material that keeps them engaged and involved. I have taken it upon myself to write my own material for the last ten years. The goal was to create stories that the children would enjoy performing AND could be easily adjusted if students were to come and go during a term – these plays are the result. Each play has been performed and met with positive feedback from both children and parents alike.
